NASDAQ Futures

What are “NASDAQ futures” and is there a link or ticker symbol that exists to track them???

Same for “S&P Futures.”

Thanks for the help,

You can read about futures and commodities here and here.

I’m assuming you’re referring to the E-mini Nasdaq 100 and the E-mini S&P 500, which are both traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Essentially, both of these are index futures. They work just like regular stock futures, except they track the famous indices. There are non-mini futures, but I’m assuming if you’re asking this question you don’t have the capital required to trade them. Since I’m paranoid today, there is a substantial risk in trading futures, and many experts believe that most people who trade futures lose money. My personal opinion is that the experts are correct.
