Is there a delay before new messages are visible to others?

Yes, that’s what I was trying to say. But based on Quartz’s last post, it seems it’s not the explanation in this case, as you say.

Edit: never mind. Another crap quick-reply theory bites the dust. Was thinking that quick reply only updated the local cached copy of the page rather than going right to the server for a whole page reload, but it doesn’t.

Is there some reason why there are so many animals (and mostly dead ones) in this thread? :dubious:
