I just saw a clip from the video game for Superman Returns, and it had a giant robot in it.

The game is “based on” the movie, so you’ll see some things that directly correspond, and other things (like giant Metallo or Braniac, can’t remember which) that kinda fit in.
No, but you know what would have made Superman great? If the third act had Superman fighting a giant freakin’ spider. Or maybe a polar bear.
IMHO, the closest thing in this movie to a giant robot was Brandon Routh.
Or an electric penguin! Twenty feet tall! With long green tentacles that sting people, and the blood can go spurting PPPSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH in slow motion!

What if Superman got his powers not from the Earth’s red sun, but from his suit? That would be interesting.
Nah, they should save the electric penguin for a further Batman sequel.
