The excellent soundtrack to one of my computer games is in MP2 format, which I’d love to listen to separately, but Winamp apparently isn’t able to play it. Is there a converter available that can convert MP2 files to MP3? Thanks.
Winamp should play MP2 files just fine, if your Winamp version is newer than 2.22, according to this.
It’s possible that your game slapped an .mp2 entension of files of another variety.
I have Winamp 2.8, but only the Lite version. Maybe the others include an MP2 feature?
Give EncSpot a crack at it, see what it comes up with.
BTW, Winamp 2.8 Lite should play .mp2s fine.
