Is there a "I'm one of those people who..." thread?

You know - a thread for people to post those “You know how there are some people who (insert something that annoys a bunch of people)? I’m one of them now” events.

If not, then I’ll start one with:

I…started my Christmas shopping. Yes, in September. To be fair, I was saving $60 on it by buying it now.

Good topic but not sure how to respond, maybe some other members responses would help!

I drive in the left lane on the freeway.

In my defense: I live in a state where the speed limit for semi-trucks is 10 m/h less than for passenger vehicles. We also get a lot of RV traffic in my area that will invariably go the same speed as the semis. So basically I spend most of my time on the freeway (in rural areas) either in the process of passing or getting ready to pass. I do keep an eye on the rear view mirror so if I see someone going faster behind me I move over as soon as I can. In urban areas I drive in the lane that most closely matches the speed I wish to go.

You’re dead to me now.

I like to whistle in public. Intricate tunes. I’m very good at it. Could go pro. Soon as they invent professional running around the block.

I keep a daily journal. Every day since I turned eight.

My life has not been that interesting, but it sure has been chronicled.

I’m one of those people who sleeps on the floor.

I’m one of those people that back in they day, and in Raiders of the Lost Ark, they referred to folks like me as, “Top. . . Men. . .”

Tripler
I was known way before my time.

Me too! You’re not the only one.

Ah yes, but on a mattress, that just skips the structural bed part? I just have a folded blanked under my hips, and the carpeting. I can sleep on floors in airports.

My step daughter used to sleep on her pile of laundry, which would cyclically vary from clean to dirty.

Yes, on a yoga mat on the floor. No mattress.

And I think that’s why I do not have any of the back problems associated with people in their 60’s.
