Just a thought-A,mericans seem to go crazy about “time capsules” -you know, those little packages for the future? Every world’s fair seems to bury one…yet how on earth are the people of the future supposed to find the damn things? Of course, some are marked (like the 1939 Word’s fair in NYC)-but just how are the future people going to learn about us, if they can’t find the capsules?
is there a listing of these things anywhere?
I have anoivel idea concerning time capsules-I think we should bury samples of our garbage and trash-stuff we are trying to get rid of! Like nuclear wastes-let’s seal up a barrel of the stuff-not to be opened till 12,000 AD!
Finally, what happens to the contents of time capsules that have been opened-does the stuff go into museums?
Most time capsules are probably never recovered, WAG. You frequently read stories of someone doing construction and coming across one that no one knows anything about. I doubt there’s enough continuity that people track this overy any period of time.

Actually, a created a master list of time capsules. I was gonna make a web site from the list, but I lost it.
Maybe I accidentally threw it out? Then my time capsule list of time capsules is buried somewhere But I don’t know where.
