Is there a movement to redesign the American flag?

Or, in a fairly recent incident, dry humping the thing on stage.

Oh, and the Flag Code is purely advisory.

Yes, I know that. It advises on what constitutes disrespect of the flag. I’m not saying that they should be arrested for violating the flag code, or anything. But I am saying that they’re hypocrites for violating it, while accusing others of disrespect.

And the big Ralph Lauren logo on their uniforms.

Still wouldn’t be as cool as the proposed flag for New Zealand.

Oh wow!

ding ding ding ding ding!

:white_check_mark:

Or flying it from a big pickup truck in all kinds of weather.

Then it just becomes a flagpole rag, and the wind won’t stop.

On second thought - yeah - I’ll show a movement to re-deisgn the US flag.

I kind of like this one.

I see the stars as representing the people of the country rather than one per state.

I don’t know; that one looks to me as if the USA were trying to claim the galaxy.

That was my thought as well.

The Milky Way has 100-400 billion stars, so that design might be overstating things by quite a bit.

Perhaps it should depict the Small Magellanic Cloud, that has about the right number.

I know, but the Milky Way just looks a lot cooler.
