I have two lovely 100% wool carpets that I bought in Egypt, both 50-60 years old, both 64-knot. One is from Azerbaijan and one from Shiraz. I’m stupid - when I bought them I carefully wrote down this information, but I neglected to note which carpet was which. I’m going to sell them, but it would be nice to identify which carpet is from which place.
Does anyone know enough about carpets to help me figure this out? I can put photos on flickr if it helps.
