I do this quite a lot, get a tickle in my nose and start to sneeze and inhale rather shapely and suddenly but then don’t finish with the blow out that characterizes a sneeze.

Is there a term for the first half of a sneeze?

“Ah–” or “the wind up” are just ok. I particularly like “Ah–”. But is their medical or physiological terminology for the “Ah–” part of a sneeze?
