Is there a way in Windows XP to have it change your desktop wallpaper daily?

For example, I have I great folder with some drawings in it. I’d like to have Windows XP cycle through it, using each consecutive wallpaper each day.

Anyway to do this? Or is there a way to get a program that can do this?

Webshots Desktop from http://www.webshots.com is outstanding for this task.

It’s free, and has an amazing range of high quality images you can download daily. It can recycle images every 15 mins, 1 hour, 1 day, etc.

It also allows you to do what you want. You can include images from your computer for it to cycle through.

Very popular, and available from many places is Logoswitch.
If you Google for it, you can get some good reviews and user comments.

It changes boot and shutdown screens by lots of options

Here’s one site to download. It has a good free sample for 30 days. http://www.visual-mp3.com/review/753.html

You can always try download.com & search for whatever program you want to do whatever you need… e.g. ‘wallpaper’

Actually, service pack 1 for Windows XP came with a background wallpaper switching program called Wallpaper Changer. I’m using it right now.

I went to the webshots.com site and downloaded a bunch of pics. But how do you actually set up a image recycle system so the wallpaper automatically changes?

I think you need to download their software, not just the images they have on their site.

Here’s a link to URL=http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/experiences/downloads/create_powertoy.asp]Microsoft’s PowerToys Fun Pack, which contains a wallpaper changer.

Enjoy.

Argh… preview, preview, preview.
