We bought a new deadbolt and doorknob combo for our front door. I installed the deadbolt on top. Now the one on bottom with the doorknob portion. It has the lock for the knob you turn by hand or lock with key from outside.
Here is the problem. You know how the latch has that half moon shaped thing in the center and you connect the knobs passing through that? From the outside the knob is on right and door opens in to the left. When you connect it appears to only fit for a door where from the outside the knob is on the left and door would open to the right 
The only way make it work would be the outside knob on the inside and vice versa. The box does not indicate its for a right or left door. Is there a way to flip that half moon mechanism on either the knobs or in the latch?
If my wording isn’t clear I can take some pics. And yes I already read over the instructions .
