First of all, take a quick look at this video, and (if you wouldn’t mind, for just a moment) turn the volume on your computer, and in the video itself, all the way up, and look at what the green volume bar is doing (if you’re using Windows; if you’re not I don’t know what your volume bar looks like).
On my laptop, it never goes above about ten pixels or so. The entire video is extremely quiet, almost impossible to hear unless there is complete silence in the room I’m in.
Is this so for everyone? Or is there something my particular laptop is doing which causes it to stay this quiet?
If the latter, do you think there’s a way I can make this stop happening? So that I can hear this (and many other) videos?

ETA: To be clear it’s not just that my laptop has quiet speakers–many other videos I can watch and hear without a problem. And maybe it’s just that this video (and many others) is quiet, but that’s what I’m asking, in part. Is it a quiet video, or is my computer doing something to for some reason keep it quiet just when I play it back on this machine?
