Is there an adapter that would allow me to use an xbox360 controller on my old xbox?

I’m asking because I would like to play Street Fighter Anniversary Edition with my xbox360 Dead or Alive 4 Arcade Stick. Unfortunately, SFAE is not emulated on xbox360 so I’d need an adapter to do that.

According to Wikipedia, the Xbox 360 controllers are USB controllers. IIRC, the original Xbox controllers were also USB, except that they used a different shaped plug. So, theoretically, it might only take an adapter to make the plug fit right. There are definitely Xbox to USB adapters, but what you need is the opposite. I can’t find any place that sells such an adapter, though. Your best bet to make one is probably to tear up an old Xbox and take the controller plugs out of it.
