Connect my XBox 360 to my Logitech computer speakers?

So, i just bought an XBox 360, and I can get an adaptor that lets me connect it to my VGA monitor, no problem. Now I just need to figure out how to connect it to my computer speakers, which use the 3.5mm audio cable connector, and have no audio in. Is there an adaptor that will let me connect the RCA audio-outs to such a connector, or a practical way to connect them to my computer’s audio-in and play the sound that way?

There was an adapter that looks like this that came with your 360, specifically made to do this. If you lost it, there are gazillions of adapters that do exactly the same thing. Radioshack is a good place to look.

So, does that connect to the line-in on my computer then? Will it automagically play through my speakers which are connected to the computer at that point?

The easiest solution would be to get a set of speakers with line-in jacks on them, but I’d rather not do that if I don’t have to.

Yup. Just make sure the Line In isn’t muted in in the Playback Control (the speaker icon next to the clock). And if you have an Arcade Xbox 360 (the cheap one with a memory card, but no hard drive), it doesn’t come with that adapter. Or at least mine sure didn’t. You should be able to pick one up for two or three bucks.

Thanks a bunch.
