Well, there’s a lot about Maori cannibalism here, but no one has mentioned the culture whose entire social structure was centered on cannibalism – the Aztecs. It’s notable that that society suffered from a lack of large domestic animals (basically they just had turkeys and dogs) which deprived them of significant sources of meat as well as methods for transporting non-meat food.
