Topic says it all, whether it be UPS, FedEx, or just the good old USPS, any of them work on sundays? I recently ordered something from amazon.com, and was just curious at the email, in which the estimated mailing date was a sunday.
As Joey P’s link says, the US Postal Service will deliver Express Mail 365 days a year (even Christmas Day!).
What many people do not realize is that there are several Post Offices that are open for normal business on Sundays. I have frequently used the one in the basement of Macy’s department store on Union Square in San Francisco (Post Office open 11am-5pm every Sunday).
I believe that there are several Post Offices in the US (near major airports) that are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but can’t provide a cite right now.
The airport post office in Milwaukee is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year. I use it quite often. It’s also really nice becuse if you take your mail there it get’s to it’s destination at least a day sooner. (If you take it within (this is a guess) a 50 mile radius it will get to the airport post office tomarrow, and then go from there).
Likewise, the post office near Los Angeles International Airport is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, for all services. I actually applied for my passport there at 1:00am. (no lines!)
