I’ve heard a lot of good things about 8-Bit Theater. I even tried reading a few strips.
I didn’t get very far, because I couldn’t figure out what was going on visually. It makes my brain hurt trying to figure out which blob is who and what. I mean, I know it says it’s eight bits in the name, but sheesh. Honestly, blank squares- clearly outlined squares in different colors- would be easier to understand. I mean, two of the party of four have the same color scheme.
So I was wondering if someone somewhere on the web wrote down the clever dialogue without the awful pictures, movie script style. Something like:
BLACK MAGE: I am about to do something evil.
[Sneaks out of the house, is attacked by a mutant goldfish].
BLACK MAGE: Maybe I should have looked both ways.
I’m really not sure where to start on Google, so I’m asking you if you’ve ever heard of something like this.
OP: I have not seen any, but I think your best bet would be to look for something about “blind accessibility” or a version optimized for search engines.
ETA: I take that back. I found a wiki that provides transcripts!
No, prosopagnosia has to do with real faces, not stylized ones. I can tell them apart if I look closely, but since the graphics are so bad I pretty much see them as colorful blurs. It takes a few seconds to tell one orange-and-white blur from another, and the whole visual assault just annoys me.
