I left a gallon of ice cream out on the counter and it pretty much melted. I stuck it back in the freezer and now it’s all icy and grainy. Is there any way to fix this? Like putting it in the food processor or blender? Just curious. I think I’m going to use it up to make fruit smoothies.
if you chilled it to a point of thickening but before freezing and blended it (without heating it) then you might reform it. put it in an ice cream maker if you have one, otherwise this might be difficult to do.
