brett3570, I realize that my opinion about Spain’s visitability probably isn’t trustworthy, but it’s got a ridiculously big amount of World Heritage Sites. During a visit to the Royal Site of La Granja (which my my standards isn’t even particularly interesting, nice garden but I’m not much into Neoclassic architecture) in something like 1990 we met a Mexican architect who’d won a 3-month stay in Spain, called his partner to sell his half of the firm when the 3-monther was over and was spending all his money travelling around the country and taking pictures like he owned the Fuji Film company.
Spain and Italy are two countries that I really think lose a lot from the “if it’s Tuesday we’re in Brussels” approach.
