Is there anything cuter than sleeping kitties?

All right, you dog people go start your own thread! :stuck_out_tongue:

Here are my submissions…
two twisted sleeping kittens
one sleeping with leg dangle, one just waking up
security guards sleeping on the job (and another angle)
solo sacked
curled into a tiny ball and with a hat

Awwww, that orange one looks like Tony!

Oh, and for the “weirdest positions” award, I nominate my older kitten Pixie the naptime contortionist kitty

No, of course not! But they do get their daily beatings . . .

In my opinion, awake kittens tend to be cuter than sleeping ones. Awake kittens give you kisses (with tongue). Awake kittens playfight with the resident grumpy cat. Awake kittens go ‘mew’ and have those irresistible round eyes.

Jezebel.

!!! We used to have that couch. I know, I know, weird thing to point out, but hey, my parents had it for about half my life, so it sticks out in my mind.

What’s weirder is that in another thread of cat pictures, a couple of years ago, someone posted a picture and it was the same couch that I had. What is it with cat threads and matching Doper sofas?!

I dunno, but the other night when I was cleaning up bloody pawprints* on the hallway carpet, and the living room carpet, and the office carpet, and the kitchen floor, and the bathroom carpet, I said to Mr. S that from now on we should get only carpets that are blood-and-shit**-colored, to hide the stains.

Is your sofa the color of a freshly horked-up hairball?

*It’s lots of fun bringing in two rambunctious dogs from outside, noticing bloody prints on the floor, and then trying to determine which one is bleeding, catch her, AND wrestle her into the bathtub. Oh, and we were already dressed to go out. We both did some fast stripping, let me tell you.

**Recalling an unfortunate diarrhea incident a few years ago that involved two weeks of medication and replacing several carpets. It was just easier to throw them out, trust me.

Yes, I love sleeping kitties(not my pic).

But I happen to think that sleepingbabies, holding “babies” are the cutest.

There sure are some die hard pet lovers around here…please don’t kick me off the board!

Tasha (the grey one) and Bobby. What I love about this picture is that it’s the first time they’ve ever been that close; it took a year, but now they’re pretty comfortable with each other.

SQUEEEEEEEE!

Zormgz! That picture made me squee myself to death*. I am now passed on into the afterlife and posting this from the grave because of the cuteness of that picture.
*Not actually dead. I can’t contact your dead relatives and relay messages. I have no connection to John Edwards or Miss Cleo.

We got the couch from my sister - maybe it is your couch. Maybe it’s the same couch that just goes from house to house to house. Maybe there is only one couch.

You should see my sweet, sweet tush! I mean… Hey! Back off! I’m a happily married man!

Ahem…
