I don’t know what it is about cats and sleeping as close to your face as they can get - we have two that do that now (it used to be just one, but the other one seems to have gotten on board with it!).

Tony, the kitten, has decided that near my feet is the best possible place to spend the night. It’s interesting to wake up in the morning with a ball of fuzz on your toes.
Awwwww, yes, I love them all so much! Especially the human underneath all the kitties. 
eta: And now that Trouble is gone, he has seniority over all the critters. 
No, I believe that the pics in question display the “Boxes contain cats” rule, as the cats don’t exactly fit in the box. On the other hand, that box doesn’t exactly contain the cats, either…
I just had to update this thread, since Pepper and Tony have managed to outdo themselves on the sleeping cuteness scale. From 1 to 10, this one’s an 11!
Ah yes, the well-known Orange Cat/Gray Cat “T Position” with the gray cat forming the crossbar… good form, good form. (See my previous submission for another example)

I think, in a competition for cutest/coolest sleeping cat picture, this one wins on soo many levels!
