I have now owned three different brands and styles of hot melt glue gun; they all have one thing in common; they suck.
They overheat and burn the glue; when I add a new glue stick at the back, it isn’t retained properly and it falls out; they drip, constantly - meaning that over half the glue I put in them ends up as hard blobs on the work area, or gets stuck all over everything. and the void left in the heating chamber by the escaping drips means that when I squeeze the trigger, nothing (or just bubbles) comes out until I squeeze a bit more, then too much comes out.
So… Is there such a thing as a hot melt glue gun for amateur use that has proper temperature control and doesn’t drip, in fact doesn’t just suck?
