Right on, Vida (even though I’m not sure why you’re Miss Afghanistan when you’re a college student in California:confused: ). You didn’t “betray” Afghan culture, you enhanced it.
She won an award AT Miss Earth, not the title Miss Earth.

Well, if pitting someone means ranting about them, then reverse would either be making nice comments about them, or maybe saying how much better they are than you?
After first watching the original Japanese version of The Ring (called Ringu) and then watching the American, I wanted to find a way to apologize to the Japanese for us taking a great movie of theirs and totally butchering it. I wonder if that would be a type of reverse pitting?
