Yes, but it’s active, not passive.
If you mean a single act of cunnilingus, then no, I don’t think so. A lick job?
The boards are (by non-US standards) extremely right-wing and religious.
For example, the right-wing Conservative party in the UK (leading the polls to form the next Government) stand for:
- universal health care
- banning of handguns
- unarmed beat police
- teaching of evolution
- closing Guantanamo Bay
I don’t know, but I often find myself saying “[Such and such thing] can blow me.” It gets the point across.
Reading through any discussion on business or economics should disabuse you of this silly notion.
Well, yeah. I don’t doubt that you can come up with some good ways to tell someone to fuck off, in so many words.
But I am wanting a word that means the exact same as ‘blow job’, you know?
Not as an insult, but as in, “Boy, if he keeps licking his lips like that, I’m gonna ask him for a …”
I’d say the board is left of center by US standards and right of centre [sic] by European standards, with a wide variety of views held within that range and the usual gangs of noisy idiots at either extreme.
However, I’m not convinced it is “predominantly agnostic and atheist”; it’s just that the agnostics/atheists here tend to speak up a lot more than in regular society.
Chapstick?
Sigh. Forget it. If you guys aren’t going to be serious about coming up with a good word, then I will just stop hijacking this thread about it. And ‘lick job’ is weak. Sounds whack, and encourages bad technique.
It’s a bit archaic, but “head” goes both ways.
Eating out.
ETA: And I don’t know about there being a significant part of the board being actively anti-religious. Der Trihs and DtC are two obvious examples, and there are others, but that’s not a ton. Those threads are just very highly self selecting towards people that feel strongly about the subject. You won’t get a lot of replies from atheists that don’t care either way.
Yeah, but you wouldn’t say “I gave her a head”.
No, you’d drop the ‘a’ - that’s even shorter. **Nzinga **seems to be after brevity.
She’s also after a word that describes a single… performance, though, as BJ does.
Not in my experience. ISTM that the SDMB is at about the same (roughly) 80% pro-choice/20% pro-life proportion as the (roughly) 80% liberal/ 20% other proportion it otherwise presents.
I doubt the boards are any more balanced there. A poster was suspended for thirty days a while back for (among other things) posting in the Pit links to a video presenting information detrimental to Planned Parenthood.
I think the difference in the case of abortion is that there are several Dopers - I probably shouldn’t mention them, because I will inevitably forget some of the others, but JThunder, beagledave and Stratocaster spring to mind - who argue the pro-life position about as well as I have seen anywhere. Things look more balanced when even a small number kick ass and take names as consistently as these do in abortion threads. And also because pro-life debaters who do not rise to the level of the two mentioned get piled on and the rest of the treatment, and therefore learn to either leave the topic or the boards alone.
Actually, I think both these points are well-taken.
Regards,
Shodan
It was for posting a misleading thread title, not for posting links to a video. I agree, though, that the suspension was inappropriate and certainly appeared politically motivated.
Doing a better job at understanding my posts now than you did at the beginning of the thread.
How about cuntjob?
I have met a few of those. They usually work in customer service.
“A trip downtown” maybe? Or is that too long?
Colonel Angus?
