Is this Bush Website for Real II?

I came across this website while surfing the net. And I wonder if the information it has about the president is accurate. I am most troubled by quotes like this one:

When advised that the homosexual population is one of the most
well-educated and active voting groups in the nation:

Did the president really say that? How could he have gotten away with saying something like that–and right at the beginning of an election year. I thought he was a compassionate conservative who would allow gays in his administration as long as they came “out” only after they joined. Why didn’t Al Gore use statements like the above to his advantage during the campaign?

The rest of the site pokes fun at how stupid he is, and there are a few more shocking remarks like the above quote (scroll to the bottom of the page to see it). But mostly I am shocked by that quote.

Is this site for real? I mean, is the information they give accurate? (If you will recall, I wondered the same thing about another site a little while ago.)

One of the pictures on there is known to be a fake, and the site trumps an old urban legend at the bottom. Also more ridiculous things, like Bush saying guns are in the Bible, and that the Texas State Constitution is a joke. So I have reason to doubt its legitimacy.

Also, I think this would be better posted under General Questions, though perhaps not.

I might be being whooshed (again sigh), but if you’re seriously asking if the site is serious, I would say not. Given the other parodies on it (“Clone of the Attack,” for instance, or the Three Stooges graphic about halfway down the homepage), I would say that anything on it that sounds fake probably is. The “perverts” thing sounds like a bit much to me.

Then again, Bush has said some pretty surprising things. I’m still surprised he got away as lightly as he did with the “major-league asshole” thing. But then, that’s me…

It’s part of a network of more than two dozen anti-government conspiracy sites all ending in .net. I don’t think it’s fake. There are more than 500 articles on one of the sites alone, for instance.
