I just found out that ctrl-b, ctrl-i, ctrl-u all work to put bold italic and underline in your posts.
Is this firefox? Is it the board upgrade? Or has this always worked?

just tried it in Safari - doesn’t work for me. I have to use the buttons for formatting.
I thought it was a board upgrade, but maybe not, if it doesn’t work in safari.
You know what is cool about Firefox 3 (at least, I never noticed it before if it was part of previous versions)? You can highlight any words on a webpage, right click on it, and select “Search Google for [selection]” and it will open another tab with your Google search. So freaking useful when doing homework, I can tell you that!
I can do that in IE6 … but maybe because I also have Google Toolbar installed?
It is new to with the upgrade. I [posted excitingly about it last week](New feature found in upgrade: Ctrl keys work in editor!).
This is a bold test
This is an italic test
This is an underline test
Works with IE7 (no google toolbar installed).
What you talkin’ 'bout, Willis?
Sweet!
