He’s all bug-eyed and grinning and whatnot. Adorable! Note how he is almost, but not entirely, completely unlike the fish you posted. This is what makes a cute fish.

Gotta admit, I find that fish off-the-charts cute. Like, it hits cute receptors I didn’t even know I had. It makes me want to SQUEE even though I hate that word.

The OP fish is not cute. Cute is something that I wouldn’t mind swimming next to. If the oil spill didn’t keep me from visiting Louisiana beaches, the thought of that thing swimming around my toes definitely would . .
