Is this news item for real or a made up whoosh?

I thought this odd news item was for real until I got to the Psychiatrist’s comments which seemed bit over the top.

Freak leg injury occurs while local athlete prepares for season

What say you, real or whoosh?

I hope it’s a whoosh, but I fear it is all too serious. Personally I’m planning on suing the makers of Neverwinter Nights. Just the other day I was trying to lockpick a trapped chest and got seriously injured. Damn them, damn them all!

Aww, it’s got to be a whoosh. Besides all the spelling errors, come on: Harry Balsagna?

Hairy Balls On Ya.

Badly written with commas, in strange, places. Bizarre shifts in tense from past to present. Doctors who feel free to comment on legal matters and personal patient information. An amazingly compressed time frame; from injury to hospital to complete diagnosis to newspaper, all within the space of a day. Conflicting information, did this happen in the morning or the afternoon?

Made up. And not very well either.

The Prenenni thing isn’t exactly subtle, either.

NJ City University does exist, but doesn’t have a football team.

Sounds like a plaintiffs witness in a lawsuit. I would be surprised if she was suggested by his lawyer.

I also notice its written by a sports “reporter”. :stuck_out_tongue:
