Is this pumpkin still good?

I have a small pumpkin left over from Halloween, and I don’t know what to do with it. It’s about the size of a softball, and it’s in good shape. No rotting what so ever.

I got this pumpkin the first week of October, and I am wondering if I should just throw it away, or I should cut it open and use the seeds. That is, if they are still good.

Does anyone know if these seeds are still good? Or are they pretty much nasty by now?

If is is still firm, then it is good. Pumpkins can be stored for eight months or more in a cool place.

(I’m assuming, of course, that it is still in the natural, uncarved state)
