Is this some sort of mega-ban?

A poster who has been stirring up trouble about certain conspiracies seems to have had all of his posts deleted. That is, it’s not just showing his posts with banned, the posts themselves are gone. People who replied to his posts still have his words in the quote box, but if you click on the little triangle, you just go to the thread, not to the post itself.

Is this some new mega-ban? Has this happened before (other than for spammers)?

The mods also do that for socks. PM a mod and ask rather than start a thread here is usually the recommendation.

If you see a poster who is banned/has posts removed without explanation, please ask a mod by email or private message. Since people will probably ask, I’ll add that no, we didn’t do anything new here, and no, it’s not some kind of special ban.
