Is this toy disgusting, or what? - Doggie Doo

Doggie Doo is a game where you “feed” a plastic dog a small amount of a Play-Dough like substance. Players then take turns squeezing a pump attached to the dog’s leash until the food comes out the other end. The player who squeezed last gets to collect the doo in a plastic shovel. The dog is then fed again and the process starts all over. The first person to collect three scoops wins the game.

I guess the good thing is it might train people to clean up after their dogs in real life.

I take it you’ve never heard of Japan.

It’s pretty gross and tacky, but disgusting? Nah.

Also, Japan.

I was curious about the thread, the info revealed using the hover feature made me laugh out loud.
Not in the market to buy one of these “games” anytime soon but it is pretty funny.

It teaches a valuable lesson about the digestive system, as well as cleaning up after your pet.

Mother approved!

You mean like this Examiner is back - Examiner.com , only this is edible?

It’s amusing how little kids want to “play” what adults try to avoid: housework, cooking, going to work…

Hmm. If I’d known there was going to be an English-language version, I wouldn’t have ordered one from Germany a couple of years ago.

I’m not clicking on your German Scheisse video link!

Ha! Yes, it’s disgusting. That’s kind of the point. I take it you haven’t been around young humans much? (Or college aged humans? Or drunk humans?)

Check out the giggles from this kid and his dad doing a game review of Doggie Doo.

(Wow, that reads just like a spammer, doesn’t it? Sorry.)

Can somebody explain this?

Try this. Do a google image search for “Japan is weird” and see what kinds of things come up.

Do NOT do this at work.

I’m debating buying this for a gift. After seeing the video, I think this would be awesome for me to play with my daughter, nephew and niece. Awesome.

One thing I have to ask is, why is it yellow?

I love that game. One of my dogs is named Goliath so I get a kick out of it.

I’ve been making sour faces for ages when this commercial comes on television. The kids laugh hysterically. I say, “What is the attraction of playing with poop?” More hysterics.

I think I’ll sign up for the SDMB gift exchange just so somebody can give me one of those. Hi (clap) Larious!

Not quite as gross, but Milky the Marvelous Cowwas a top selling toy in the US during the late 70s.

Yellow stools are an indicator of gall bladder problems, or GI infections. Poor thing should go see a vet.

Watch this.

I gave one of them to my sister’s in-laws. Everyone loved it; it still gets dragged out during family gatherings. (Works best with Milk Duds.)
