Last night for where to buy a particular artist’s CD I came across a website [URL=http://www.mp3. I was astonished to learn that you can buy entire CD’s for 99 cents!
I know it sounds too good to be true, and I should just give it a pass. According to the website, it’s based in Russia.
Does anybody know if this is legit? Is it legal?
I’m assuming these sites are legal. I’m a member of mp3.com and for a $10 deposit I have gotten about 60 songs. They’re priced between 9-20 cents each. I really hope it’s not illegal, because that’s how I filled my iPod.
Both of those servers are in Russia. They are not legal to use in the US. Of course, that doesn’t stop millions of Americans doing it. But you just can’t use this board to do it.
I"ve removed the links and closed this thead. I think I did the same thing back in December and was pitted for it. I’ll see if I can try to link to those threads. Here’s the thread that I closed in December, and “What they’re doing is illegal in the US”…and does an overzealous mod have a CITE?! is the thread wherein we discussed the issues. I would encourage the reading of Bricker’s posts in that last linked thread.
