Is Trump confused?

The vaigan bit is probably not confusion but his way of mocking vegans.

Are you sure it’s not Vogon poetry?

That too.

I believe “covfefe” was in a tweet, so a textual gaffe rather than a verbal one.

I don’t think so. He didn’t sound mocking, he was praising one of his supporters.

I would give him a soft pass on “Venezueler”, though; there are those who naturally change words which end in “a” to end in “er” instead.

They were all verbal gaffes, but “covfefe” was textual rather than oral.

Right; it’s a New Englander type pronunciation, for example; a place where one can say “Asier Minah” and be understood geographically.

Venezuela, run by bad boy Huggo Chabbez.

He’s been dead for a decade.

If only… Oh, you meant Chávez. Pronoun trouble.

He’s still struggling in his fight to remain dead.

Franco however is doing just great at that remaining dead stuff. After all, he’s got lots more experience at it.

Different topic …
Actually, I’ve figured out what’s going on in trump’s head. (Can’t quite call it a brain and certainly not a mind.)

During a wild party at Elon Musk’s palace a couple years ago Musk used massive suck-uppery to convince trump to get a Neuralink installed. Musk’s goal of course was to make trump his zombie puppet. Conversely, trump’s goal was to get the infinite IQ and infinite mental and physical longevity that Musk promised would be delivered some day “real soon”.

Of course the Neuralink is a buggy POS and is glitching trump’s already enfeebled head something fierce. The fact the guy trying to steer trump’s head by remote control using the Neuralink is a ketamine fiend and an all around spoiled psycho jerkwad isn’t helping.

It’s Max Headroom in real life.

And Chavez would be more of a “bad hambre”.

Oh yes, I still can hear JFK talking about Cuber.

I saw on my newsfeed, but can’t find a reference to it on the web, that at his recent Wisconsin rally he claimed that the GOP had declined under Biden. It was pretty clear he meant that the GDP had declined (which it hasn’t) and misread it off the teleprompter.

Is my memory off, or did this really happen? When reading off a teleprompter, aren’t you supposed to parse the meaning of what you’re saying? It seems to me this would be an easy mistake to make, but also one that would be caught right away and corrected.

This?:

Thanks, Beowulff. That was it.

And the way Jimmy Carter said Nuclear drove some people nuts.

Which is especially confounding given his education in nuclear reactors and nuclear physics.
