Notice, however, that Trump’s proposed modification puts extra responsibilities and risks on the vice president, but not on the president. Trump would never make his own job more difficult. He’ll grab power, but never responsibility.
And “grounds for impeachment” is “whatever the House of Representatives says it is” anyway. It’s an utterly incoherent proposal of a solution to a problem that didn’t happen.
Wouldn’t that already be grounds for impeachment?
