Is Trump's pettiness over Megyn Kelly going to hurt him [plus Ramos incident]

(post shortened)

A reporter should “report” the news. That includes all of the facts. Let the viewer/listener/reader decide the issues for themselves.

A political activist only babbles on about what is good about their side of an issue, and what is bad about the other side of an issue.

A political activist can not be trusted to be a reporter.

How dare someone post something without first getting your approval. Don’t they know who you are? Don’t they care?

The National Review opinion guy does not know what he is talking about, but sure they know how to be inhuman, but even a Wall Street Journalist had to agree that calling that a border crisis instead of what it was: a humanitarian crisis is what demonstrates the kind of people some Republicans are.

Then color me radical too. And Jesus, while you’re at it.

It seems the National Review may not subscribe to your idea that journalists aren’t supposed to be perfectly unbiased.

Not to mention that Buckley set up a scholarship specifically to groom “conservative journalists.”

Of tangential relevance: what’s your opinion of Fox News?

So true. How I long for the old days, like in the run up to the Iraq invasion, when real reporters knew their place, and deserved our trust.

Who says I don’t approve? By all means, keep shoveling.

Which doesn’t change the fact that Ramos is a political activist.

Megyn Kelly has acted in a very professional manner. The GOP debate was handled well. I liked the idea that the top 10 candidates met on one stage AND that the other candidates were allowed to meet earlier. That seems to be so fair and balanced.

Did you hear anything about CNN not allowing the current top polling candidates to meet for the CNN GOP debate? In spite of the fact that Carly Fiorina is currently near the top of the field, CNN continues it’s war on women candidates who are not named Hillary.

As pointed before you do not know when to stop digging.

If you look at my post history you would know that I do not trust much in the mainstream media, specially when they have an interest on increasing controversy to get more money in political advertisements.

But as others pointed out your point here is a really dumb one, Ramos is very close to what Bill O’Reilly is for FOX, in fact I do not remember any issue were he sounded before as liberal as the immigration issue is for him, as I noted before Univision’s talking points in their talking head shows for many years have been reactionary and conservative and is still AFAIK controlled by Cuban Americans, not liberal at all indeed.

Immigration however has been an issue where even the conservatives can see the injustice on what Republicans did to immigration reform, the dreamers and the humanitarian crisis with the kids in the border.

Trump and the very extreme conservatives has made them realize that there are subjects that they will not agree with the tea party Republicans.

If Trump gets to be the Republican nominee expect all Hispanic media to support whoever Democrat is nominated.

Dig what? Like I dig you, duuude?

I guess it’s official. GIGObuster says Ramos is a Bill O’Reilly. Is that the reason you like Ramos? Or do you like Ramos?

Would you mind rephrasing the underlined run-on sentence. Thanks in advance.

There is a difference between a journalist who has some political views (everyone does) and a political activist.

So you assert that there are no real journalists working at Fox News?

Actually, that’s quite true. The difference is that the Fox News ones like to lie about the news or just plain make things up. Don’t know if Ramos has ever done that, and I seriously doubt he could do it nearly as well.

Why thank you for showing all that you do not pay attention, well at least you to to grammar issues.

I already said that Ramos was out of line and in other threads in the past I made clear that O’Reilly is nuts. Ramos is only rude.

Gaudere is a harsh mistress.

I meant to say: Why thank you for showing all that you do not pay attention, well at least you do to grammar issues.

I already said that Ramos was out of line and in other threads in the past I made clear that O’Reilly is nuts. Ramos is only rude and I will have to add that he is more of a centrist, although I do remember not wanting to watch him because in more than a few reports I noticed that the reactionary side got a better treatment from him.

So the Buckley scholarship is to train journalists to STFU about their conservative views so they don’t influence their reporting?

Their conservative views definitely should not influence their reporting. It is good to have some objective reporters out there to counteract some that allow their blatantly liberal politics color their reporting.

So reporting that anti vaccination people are grossly wrong is a liberal issue?

Absolutely a liberal issue! Practically all media is staunchly liberal, dontcha know? I’ve read that some of these elitist liberal media have also been extremely biased in favor of science on subjects like climate change and evolution! Unbelievable but true. Trump-Palin 2016!

Non-sequitur.

But here is a piece of data: The average anti-vaxxer is probably not who you think she is

Liberal: 60% of anti-vaxxers describe their political leaning as liberal.
