Is Trump's pettiness over Megyn Kelly going to hurt him [plus Ramos incident]

I think Jabbar got that correct. And the rest of it.

It’s pure poetry.

All that said so also said that despite his rampant cheating, he’s also a very very good golfer.

Just imagine him as president
, playing against Kim Jong-un. One of them would probably score a 17 for the course.

One guy said? Does that guy have a name?

Does Trump cheat as much as Obama might? More? Less?

Mark Mulvoy, Alice Cooper, and Rick Reilly (who was the source of that one particular quote).

Cheaters can’t be classy. Trump is a cheater.

Not surprisingly, Trump has attempted to refute all three of their claims (and claims to not even know Mulvoy, or have golfed with Cooper).

I watched a show about Trump and his golf courses. He plays like a dickhead even with a camera on him.

You act as if your story is worse than Hillary’s computer guy being expected to plead the 5th to keep from incriminating himself over Hillary’s email problems.

Is the following from the same article you read concerning Trump’s golf?

*Jonathan Carr spent the 2007 and 2008 golf seasons caddying at Trump National in Bedminster, N.J. He remembers a gregarious club owner who treated the caddies with the utmost respect, a man who, despite lacking a “pristine” golf swing, played at a high level of skill and an even higher level of confidence. Carr never saw Trump come close to bending the rules, although he said everyone who caddied there had heard of that reputation.

“The caddies would say, ‘If I get on his bag, I’m going to make sure he always has a good lie,’” Carr said, meaning that even if Trump shanked a ball, the caddies would do what they could to place it on the fairway*.

The caddies said they would place the ball??? That’s not the same as Trump placing the ball. Did Mulvoy, Cooper, or Reilly say they actually saw Trump move his ball ,or is this another menstruation-type story that didn’t actually happen?

Do you have some kind of Fox News widget in your browser where you can click on news articles, but all the stuff that isn’t good news for or about conservatives gets edited out?

Read the damn article you quoted. The answers are therein.

There is no verification of the statements.

AFAIK, the three golfers are still alive. It would be a simple matter to ask them if they would go on record as saying that they saw Trump cheat at golf. Innuendo and unverified statements don’t count.

Two of them are quoted in the Washington Post; I’m not sure how much more “on record” you want them to get.

AFAIK, the three golfers are still alive. It would be a simple matter to ask them if they would go on record as saying that they saw Trump cheat at golf. This isn’t rocket surgery?

They’re already quoted in a major newspaper; that’s pretty much what “on record” means.

Golf-ghazi-gate? Did he juice the balls, use performance enhancing drugs, and destroy his cellphone with texts about the conspiracy? Honestly I consider being a golfer to be a bigger personal failing than cheating at a bizarre game invented by a sadistic, drunken scotsman. Still it’s a personal and private failing. What consenting adults choose to do with crooked sticks while surrounded by a community of like minded fetishists is entirely their choice.

Tongue out of cheek do we really think there’s a point in talking about his adherence to golf’s rules while playing for recreation. We’ve got double digit seasons of a reality show where he clearly demonstrates that he’s a toxic leader. We have decades of him as a public figure. The only thing it takes to capture him being rude, classless, and self obsessed is to turn on a camera and wait. We’re going to argue about golf rules and the veracity of sources that he cheated? Really?!?

Cheating at golf is small potatoes – though, if Trump is as good a golfer as he claims to be, and as some of the third parties also seem to say that he is, if he feels the need to cheat as well, that does say something about his character.

What I think is more bothersome, but not at all surprising, given the way Trump attacks anyone who criticizes him or calls him on his crap, is how aggressively he impugns or denies even these little things.

Rick Reilly was interviewed by the Post for that story. The other sources are named in the story. That’s who we know who they are.

Do you know what the phrase “on the record” means?
