Is Trump's pettiness over Megyn Kelly going to hurt him [plus Ramos incident]

Hey, Mr. DJ-The needle’s stuck.

Wait, I thought it was Obama who was supposed to be the “thin-skinned” politician, according to conservative media and politicians.

I can only assume that all these news stories came out as a result of Obama hitting back hard against Rosie O’Donnell, Bill Mahr, Bette Midler, Michelle Malkin, Megyn Kelly, Arianna Huffington, Jon Stewart, and Jorge Ramos. You know, just to shut them all up.

(post shortened)

Jorge Ramos stood up at a press conference and began giving a speech. You would think that a “news anchor” would know better how to act at press conferences?

Ramos was asked to leave, just as many other disruptive assholes have been ejected from so many other press conferences over the years.

Ramos was allowed back into the press conference. Something that does not happen very often.

If Ramos wants to make a speech, Ramos can hold his own press conference. He didn’t need to act like an asshole at someone else’s press conference.

I’m really going to miss Jon Stewart’s interviews. He could put Obama and Christopher Hitchens back on their heels and not be a jerk in the process.

Hahahaha. I guess you’re tired of discussing Trump, Kelly, and Ramos?

I miss Jon Stewart’s comedy sketches, also.

I think that was the only post I’ve ever made about Megyn Kelly. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure I’m spelling her name right and I don’t care enough to look it up.

That certainly explains all of the threads and posts regarding Trump.

Good for you. No sense letting facts cramp your style.

I consider myself chided on the importance of not going out on a limb in my arguments, by, say, misspelling a journalist’s name, or claiming that racking a loaded shotgun in a Walmart is a good way of testing it out.

Oh, wait, that second one wasn’t mine.

Sez you, whoever you are.

 1. Which has nothing whatever to do with what I said.

 2. As long as you brought it up, not two weeks after the fact, I wouldn’t. Maybe not even at the time. Maybe I have some sort of history of complaining bitterly about the unfairness of journalist’s questions on this board, but I don’t think so.

I wasn’t aware that Ramos, Kelly, or Trump had racked a shotgun in Walmart? Or are you just tired of discussing the threads topics?

The LSM and blogosphere began claiming that Trump must be talking about Kelly’s menstruation some two weeks ago and they haven’t stopped. Except for the fact that Trump never said what “they” claimed he said, you have to admire their ability to repeatedly ask Trump about Kelly.

The most amusing part is the fact that people then complain about Trump for answering the media’s questions about Kelly. What a hoot.

Seems that you did not pay attention, I did said that Ramos was wrong for doing that, it does not take away the lies that Trump said. And the point I made about why Ramos was let in again stands.

Port Authority Ramos stood up at a press conference and began giving a speech. You would think that a “news anchor” would know better how to act at press conferences?

No, millions of Americans are not interested in politics because they think, with good reason, all politicians are dishonest scoundrels who say what you want to hear then do something else entirely if they are elected.

This same shit again? I asked you for a cite about this 12 days ago, and you ignored it then, but I’ll give you another shot:
This is silly. The LSM (sic) has widely reported the actual words that Trump said, as well as the widely-understood interpretation that he was referring to her menstrual cycle, as well as Trump’s denials thereof. Here is a sample CNN article: http://money.cnn.com/2015/08/09/medi…-donald-trump/. I have never seen a non-opinion article from mainstream news sources that stated categorically that Trump meant menstruation. Can you cite one?
Eggs-actly. Ramos acted like an asshole, and he should have known better.

I’ll help you.

Is The Guardian a “mainstream source”?

How about The Telegraph?

The Daily Beast

International Business Times

Salon.com

Al Jazeera America

The New Yorker

I can’t remember seeing a non-opinion article from a mainstream news source. I’ve also mentioned the blogosphere, internet, pundits, etc.

The “story” had become media-types discussing whether Trump had been talking about Kelly’s menstrual cycle. The LSM and blogosphere had no proof but that didn’t stop the rumors/news stories from circulating.
