I suspect He would have used far earthier language than most modern people would expect. Certainly the Church fathers had no problem calling heretics and apostates such things as “shithead” and “His name is Shit.” There’s even a St. Koprios, who was found as a child on a dunghill.
Still, Eastern Orthodox Christianity is capable of better than that. I was deeply touched by the story of St. Nonos baptizing St. Pelagia. How lovely it would be if there were more stories like that.
