Trump says the bombing was successful? Typical Trump bluster. Could be true or could be a total lie. He would claim success no matter what actually happened.

True but Iran’s air defenses have been pretty smashed by Israel already and the B2s (assuming the attack was with B2s) are made to evade enemy air defenses. I think they would get the job done. Trump sucks but I still believe the people flying the planes in our military are very good at their job and quite competent.
I will say I am not keen we are in another shooting war but I am glad that place is gone (assuming it is gone).

Iran’s capacity for terror has been greatly diminished over the last week. With the overwhelming firepower of the American Air Force joining in, I expect that launching missiles without being blown up is about to get much harder for the IRGC.
How would the BBC know this quickly whether it was actually destroyed? Satellite pictures may not be able to tell us what’s happening deep underground.

Can they do it? Definitely. Can they do it with non-nuclear weapons? Probably. Can they do it with a single non-nuclear bomb? Unknown. Can they confirm, quickly, that they’ve done it with a single non-nuclear bomb? Probably not.

I read an article (which I cannot find now…I tried…sorry) that said Israel has done a thorough job at dismantling Iran’s proxy terror network. Hamas, Hezbollah and (I am forgetting one I think) are pale shadows of what they were.
That’s not to say they cannot still cause trouble. It can sometimes be only one person. But Iran’s ability to project power via their terror network is very diminished. If ever there was a times to use them it would be now but beyond a few ineffective missile launches they are doing nothing.
The scary part is if Iran managed to make a few “small” nukes and smuggle them out.
