But why fuss over capitalization.

The Holocaust? Really? That is what the muslims were trying to do?
He said “expand on the Holocaust.” Any killing of large numbers of Jews could be said to be an “expansion” on the Holocaust.
If the combined Arab forces had won in 1948, 1956, 1967, or 1973, it is hard to believe they would not have killed many Jews (and non-Jewish Israeli citizens, mores the irony.) They would have begun an ethnic cleansing campaign the Serbians could only dream of.
It is entirely valid to refer to such activity as an “expansion” on the Holocaust.
read and weep, Israel-haters (communists, Islamists, neo-Nazis): Israel once again leads Palestinians in popularity in America by > 3:1 http://content.gallup.com/origin/gallupinc/GallupSpaces/Production/Cms/POLL/gseaq6schemlswrzntmw7q.png
and here’s to making the relationship between Israel and America GREAT AGAIN!
What in the ever loving fuck are you even talking about?
In 1961-64, 61% of Americans disapproved of the Freedom Riders. “Popular” sure doesn’t mean “right”!
And if you think neo-Nazis are fans of Arab Muslims, you are sadly misinformed.
So nothing has changed and you’re offering no new information relating to this topic?
To the OP’s reasons for supporting Israel I’d add this one:
Their schools don’t teach small children to see their opponents as less than human using propaganda and caricatures that Julius Streicher, the Nazi editor of Der Sturmer, would have approved of and applauded. That’s just what happens in Palestinian schools and those of other Arab countries. The West should cut off aid not just to Palestine but to any country which brainwashes children by these revolting methods.
Israel could be a light to the whole Middle East if only the Arabs would stop trying to kill Jews, forcing Israel to take tough measures to protect themselves.
Hah! I laughed.
I must say, I am rather surprised that this thread was bumped because of some poll rather than the legislation just passed in the Knesset retroactively legalizing a bunch of settlements.
It never ceases to amuse that the first thing on your lists are communists, regardless of any actual applicability. Communist doesn’t mean “anyone I don’t like.” The Israeli communist party has 3 of the 120 seats in the Knesset, historically its predecessor has held as many as 7. For your health I’d advise against you travelling to Israel; your head would likely explode to discover how socialist it is. God forbid you ever visit a Kibbutz, who knows what would happen.
The neo-nazis who are coming to my state in April suredon’t appear to be fans of Muslims. Co-founder Matthew Parrott has written that he “share(s) Anders Breivik’s commitment to push the Muslim invaders out of our Western homelands.”
I’ve been to Israel; its a nation of winners in a sea of losers. Sadly, all western nations have kook parties.
I think that’s a big part of the reason Israel catches so much grief from the virtue-signalling Left. It must be so much more satisfying to pretend that you are morally superior to the Israelis than the Lebanese or the Syrians or the Egyptians.
Do you have a cite for the charge that Palestinian schools uses revolting propaganda? I’m not doubting you; I just think some evidence should be placed in the thread to help educate apologists for Palestine.
Not as satisfying as building a strawman argument about liberals while reciting verbatim from the extreme right wing-nut talking points playbook.
Got any more counterfactual b.s. for us?
One fairly recent study found that extreme negative characterizations of “the other” were rare in both Palestinian and Israeli texts, though the study’s findings have been disputed.
