Well, I don’t know how but over last several months Canadian Chris Hadfield has become #1 Canadian in our household - kids were really impressed with his recent Skype-like conference call with the students in his old school.

His Twitter account - https://twitter.com/cmdr_hadfield - is the only one worth following as pictures are out of this world.

But the real reason for this MPSIMS is that Mr. Hadfield is now a Commander of ISS and I just wanted to congratulate him. It is a great achievement among many.

Yeah, but now there are sticky maple syrup fingerprints on the ISS steering wheel.

He recently sang a collaboration with Barenaked Ladies while in the ISS. The song’s pretty good too.
