It is FINALLY over with!

After 19 years, with a few years’ break in between, 13 years solid-- I finally, finally, finally have my BA in Mathematics. I’m exhausted, elated and a bit confused about where to go from here, but all in all I couldn’t be happier. So here I am, Mojave66, BA, aged 44.

Kids-- don’t do what I did. Finish your degree in your youth.

Adults-- Do what I did. If you want to go back to school, DO IT.

That’s seriously cool, dude.

Wow. Congratulations! Enjoy your victory!

ROCK ON! Congraduations!

Took me almost that long (13 years total) but it was worth it.
Too bad I was such an idiot back in the late 80’s. “Beer good!” Bah, you have your whole life to drink, but getting a degree in 4 years - you only get one shot at that!

I’m impressed on two levels.

#1—GOT that sucker! Age be danged. Yeah, right on and good fer ya!
#2–Degree in math. Oh gee. That is some seriously tough stuff. Wow.

Most sincere congratulations.

I feel a lot better about taking six years for my English BA now.

Congrats on your degree-edness, mojave! Now get out there and add the shit out of some numbers!

Well done, Mojave66

Huzza!

Three point one four cheers!!!

Congratulations!

How do I congratulate thee? Let me count the ways…

Seriously – high five, dude!

Congratulations! Very cool indeed.
And it looks like I’m on the 19 year plan as well. Only I’m just beginning.

I’ve got my first classes coming up in a few weeks.

Congratulations! Now say something in Math.

Congrats! Now you’re a real, official geek!

(I, for one, am midway-ish through the “at least five years” plan. Better to show up late than to not show up at all, right?)

Congrats! I did a BS in Computer Science on the same plan. It’s all worth it.

Well done!

I’d just like to add that I agree that you’re never too old. Both my parents got degrees in their 40s and my grandmother did it in her 60s!

When come back, bring p!

Congratulations! Remember to use your powers for good, never evil.

Congratulations.

Congratulations mate! I guess since you are now a BA in maths you realise that life is complex, since it has both real and imaginary components
