I permanently removed 93.9 from my radio presets 10 years ago so I don’t need to hear any of that shit.
So did 97.1, only they started back on about November 10th. It’s normally an oldies station and one of my presets in the car, but I tune them out until Jan 1 each year.
93.9 FM in Chicagoland is the place to be for all-Christmas music.
This sounds like my gripe. There are 2 holiday music stations on my satellite radio and every time I try either one of them it is a slow, somber song that does not make my spirit bright. Even when they throw in a newer song, it is some R&B singer over emoting to a churchy sounding hymn.
Is it the Jerrod Niemann one from a couple of years ago? He’s a country singer.
Nope. The one I’m hearing is some young dude trying to channel Perry Como.
Just found it-Michael Bublé.
Oh, him. Somebody needs to keep him away from Christmas music!
If you really want suck, have a listen to Diana Krall (who I actually like) trying to croak carols on her album from a few years ago. Bad idea.
here in Cleveland there is radio station that plays Christmas music 24/7’ what’s different this year is that the song “baby it’s cold outside” was removed from playlist because of the 'rape" scenario in the lyrics
My Christmas music requirements:
I need to hear that one real popular song by Trans Siberian Orchestra (Sarajevo something) once or twice. Then, I’m done. Shut that shit OFF!
Bah Humbug!
