It Is Unbelievably HOT

It’s finally cooled down a bit here. It’s been over 110 every day for at least a month and a half. I saw it hit 120 once. And it doesn’t cool down below 100 at night. I sleep outside on a mat in the dirt (a mattress buffers me from the relatively cool ground. Air conditioning doesn’t exist. It’s unbelievable.

But the “hot hot” season is almost over. One down, one more to go.

Siam Sam: As I recall it, the mosquitoes are also at their nasty during this time of year. BTW, how does the missus feel about the Soi Cowboy visits?

Even Sven: Do you have biting insects outside? That sounds like hell. No wonder the Indomitable Lions are so tough.

The mosquitoes are not bad in Bangkok actually. Although this being the dry season – or supposed to be the dry season – they’re not too bad anywhere for a couple more months, when the monsoon rains return. Although the South has a different weather pattern, so I’m never sure what’s going on down there.

The missus is just fine with my visits to Soi Cowboy, Patpong, Nana Plaza, etc. She’s gone there with me before, and she’s very good about letting me out to play, as she knows I look but do not touch. In fact, she’s even gone there with me some of the guys to watch the live lesbian shows (completely bores her), and she’s held the balloon over her head like a trooper while the girl shoots a dart from her vagina and bursts it.

Gee, I guess you’d need a coat for Bangkok.

There was more rain today. This is very freaky weather for this time of year. There should not be any rain at all. But more is on the way.
