I should think just having to live their pathetic, miserable lives would be punishment enough.
Imagine bumping through life, barely sentient, joyless, bitter because the man you put in office isn’t really doing much of anything for you besides talking the talk, but defiantly supporting him despite of it because, though he may be a turd, he’s your turd.

You’re making a bold assumption that these people are actually informed enough to realize that Bush isn’t doing anything for them. Most people around here (North Texas) not only blindly support the president, but are dumbstruck at the idea that anyone would disagree.
As I would believe any story, either anecdotal or factual, that describes the greed and dishonesty of American politics and politicians, I would believe any illustration of the stupidity and astounding ignorance of the people that would display this car magnet or believe in its message.
I sure hope these people are a minority…but I’m beginning to suspect that they are not.
I’d wager that the percentage of religious nutjobs in the US is about the same as for any other first-world nation out there – it’s just that ours are more vocal about it.
The nutjobs in other countries have the good sense to keep a low profile so they won’t be mocked by the rest of the populace; ours think they are the “rest of the populace.”
One thing you all seem to be missing is that these are magnets, rather than held on with heavy-duty adhesive.

To be fair and balanced (heh heh) I personally know people in north Texas, Fort Worth to be exact, who loathe and despise him.
Yeah we’re around, you just have to look a little harder for us. 
I know at least one in North Texas, Dallas to be exact, who is working to have investigations and the results of prior investigations brought to light which will, if there is anything like justice in this uncaring universe, result in his impeachment.

luci, not to rain on your parade, but haven’t you posted a hell of a lot of these “GWB is on the edge and is just waiting for that last little breeze to blow him off” optimistic little messages?
Because so far the chimp is still kicking. And, except for his attempts on SS’s second ‘S’ he seems to be getting exactly what he wants. Still.
