The three months I was on maternity was the first time since I was 11 that I didn’t have a job.

Don’t you worry your pretty little head. You’ll have plenty to do. Schedule about 10 hours a day for holding your child and saying “I made this? How neato! How beautiful! Look at the little toe nails! Awww, she’s sleepin’!” etc. ad naseum.

I was a wreck my first day back to work. Now I’m plotting on how to stay home and have another one. Wanna buy my house?

Thank you. Its scary, and gets overwhelming if I think about it to much. Mouse_Spouse accuses me of pregnancy denial. (I’m not doing anything stupid or dangerous, like drinking a bunch of booze while smoking Cuban cigars. I avoid talking about things like buying a mini-van and freaked out in Babies “R” Us. It was all the pastels, I swear!)
