itchy

My arm is itchy.

Last Friday I was trying to find my vape, which I assumed had fallen down inside the couch (turned out a dog stole it). I flipped the ratty old thing upside down and cut a hole in the black fabric lining and stuck my arm in to search around for my vape before the combination of nicotine withdrawal and 5 weeks of case study caused me to go homicidal.

I pulled my arm out to find it covered with tiny black fibers which looked suspiciously like fiberglass. :smack:

I had 3 days of large lumps, itchiness and redness. Now I’m on day 3 of just small bumps and itchiness. I suspect I should go to the doctor but it’s the tamest malady I’ve ever had and I’d be embarrassed to even call him. It’s definitely not infected. It’s not swollen. It’s just bumpy and itchy and I feel like an idiot. Benedryl, hydrocortisone cream, and a baking soda paste have done nothing.
That is all. :o

Try an oatmeal paste. Sorry to hear about your itch. Good Luck!

Ack. That makes me uncomfortable just reading about it!

Sounds miserable. I’ve had swimmer’s itch (like chiggers) twice and the only reason I didn’t seek medical treatment was because I knew what it was, and knew it would go away on its own.

I’d go to the doc if it’s still bothering you and not getting better, though.
