As a theist, I’d also like ITR to shut up. Lies, misquotes, straw men and such only make the rest of us believers look bad.
Thread long overdue. I’ve never read anything but garbage from him. Why won’t he go away? 
I have a question:
Hypothetically, if ITR Champion believes what he says, but realises that he will not convince anybody on the SDMB of the correctness of his viewpoints, and decides to start threads anyway for the purposes of his own amusment (or whatever), is that not also a “troll”?

The points he thinks he is making are so damned worthless.
He asserts that foot roasting wasn’t the most common form of torture in the Spanish Inquisition. So what? Some other torture was the most common. Hallelujah! Where’s my rosary?

The term “witnessing”, although it’s a commonly accepted term for affirming ones religious faith to others, bugs the shit out of me. Unless Jesus actually appeared to them, they haven’t “witnessed” a damned thing! They read it in a book or heard it from someone else. Seems more like “hearsaying” to me. :smack:
