Wow. I usually log on between midnight and six A.M., and even then it gets pretty sluggish at times. But tonight is the fastest I have seen the board, bar none.
Anyone know any reason for this?

I know, I’ve probably jinxed it,now, and can expect smoke and then an explosion.
It’s because there’s a random-number generator attached to the SDMB software, and every time you log in, it rolls the dice to see if you get a “Fast”, a “Slow”, or a “Very Slow” setting. Up 'til now, you’ve been getting the two latter possibilities… looks like you’ve gotten your first taste of the former.
