nellie thanks for the link to the article; I sent it to a former co-worker that I think could possibly benefit from it.
when I read it at first, I took it literally and didn’t understand. after about a minute, I realized the typo. my daughter has a good friend, Fred (not his real name and I have no idea what his dead name was as I met him after he began using the name Fred which was the name his parents were going to name him if he had been born with male genitalia). Anyway, Fred had surgery to remove all the female bits (breasts and reproductive organs) and the Dr was going to fashion a male organ for him.
JtC yay for pain levels being very low and having your thumb back! I’m also concerned about bees up here in the mitten state. They don’t seem to be plentiful as in the past. It doesn’t seem like the garden is getting pollinated. I have marigolds, lavender and firecrackers (that’s what we call bee balm), also butterfly weed which just sprang into bloom last week.
Our trash, recyclables and garden waste collection day is Friday. Hubs normally parks at the curb so we had to go out this evening and jockey the cars around into the driveway as I will be up and out much earlier than he is awake. He drug the grass clipping can out to the curb at same time. shoe good thing you don’t live here; City Council recently passed an ordinance that tickets will be given out if containers are put out before 6pm on Thursdays or not taken in by late evening (don’t remember exact time) on Fridays. I don’t like this as when Bella is over on the weekends, I generally don’t have to carry solid waste bags very far since there’s always someone in the neighborhood with their trash cans out on Saturday or even Sunday.
nut glad to hear you received your package, you know what they say, Third times the charm.
FCM don’t know if you’d enjoy it but on occasion I have scrambled huevos with nopalitos. Tasty.
Swampy if you like spicy hot food, then you’ll like the Indian food; otherwise . . . .
I worked for the 4th day in a row and finally am caught up on recording transactions. Also prepared a budget reallocation and documentation to get the petty cash replenished; entered both into the financial software. Since June 30 is fiscal yearend, we’re very aware about getting everything caught up. Won’t go in tomorrow but will on Saturday so I don’t have to do 4 days of transactions on Monday. On Monday I have an appointment to donate blood in the early afternoon so want to be done with work by 11am, if possible.
Tomorrow night the City is having a drone show in celebration of the country’s 250th birthday. We’re looking forward to it.
Well, I need to finalize the Kroger shopping list so wishing you all have a good night’s sleep.
